What are the prerequisites to do any of the SSI Speciality courses?
In order to access the course, you need to meet the following requirements:

The minimum age depends on each speciality. Take a look at the information for each one.

SSI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent for all of them.

Know how to swim.

Medical questionnaire.
Do I need a medical certificate to take the course?
No.
You have to fill in a medical questionnaire with questions about your health.
You only need a medical certificate if you answer "yes" to any of the questions in the questionnaire.

What is the difference between the PADI Speciality courses and the SSI Speciality courses?
The PADI Speciality courses and the SSI Speciality course offer you the same worldwide recognized certification with the same attributions.
But there are differences between the training offered by Padi and the one offered by SSI that will interest you:

SSI has a more versatile and intuitive online study platform.

SSI has the manuals of all its courses in more than 40 languages.

With SSI you have access to the APP where you not only have your manuals. You also have information about centers, dives, and a log book. You will have everything at your fingertips and with easy access.
Do I have to go to the center to do the theory part?
No.
You can do all the theory part of the course wherever you want.
We are also available to answer any questions you may have.
What is the next course i can do, and what do I need access to?
With the speciality courses, you choose what you like. You have many to choose from.
Once you have 4 specialties and 24 dives, you can get your SSI Advanced Diver certification.
Do I have to book the course in advance?
Yes, the sooner, the better as we have limited places, and we need to know in advance, so we can plan everything as best as possible.
