What are the prerequisites to do the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course?
In order to access the course, you need to meet the following requirements:

Be 10 years old.

SSI Advanced Adventurer certification or equivalent.

Know how to swim.

Medical questionnaire.
Do I need a medical certificate to take the course?
No.
You have to fill in a medical questionnaire with questions about your health.
You only need a medical certificate if you answer "yes" to any of the questions in the questionnaire.

What is the difference between the PADI Rescue Diver course and the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course?
The PADI Rescue Diver course and the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course offer you the same worldwide recognized certification with the same attributions.
But there are differences between the training offered by Padi and the one offered by SSI that will interest you:

SSI has a more versatile and intuitive online study platform.

SSI has the manuals of all its courses in more than 40 languages.

With SSI you have access to the APP where you not only have your manuals. You also have information about centers, dives, and a log book. You will have everything at your fingertips and with easy access.
Do I have to go to the center to do the theory part?
No.
You can do all the theory part of the course wherever you want.
We are also available to answer any questions you may have.
What can I do with the SSI Stress and Rescue certification?
Your depth limit is up to 30 meters, you can dive with a buddy with the Open Water or higher certification.
Once you have the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue certification, you can access further dive training.
